THE ROLE
This is a hands-on leadership position where you will have the chance to drive the salon’s growth, manage bookings, oversee staff performance, and ensure a high standard of service.
What You'll Be Doing:
Overseeing daily salon operations, ensuring smooth workflow and client satisfaction.
Managing staff schedules, performance, and training to maintain a motivated, high-performing team.
Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Ensuring the salon meets health and safety standards and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.
Handling client inquiries, concerns, and feedback, ensuring all clients leave happy and satisfied.
Managing stock levels, ordering products, and keeping inventory organized.
Supporting stylists and staff in achieving their professional goals, offering guidance and mentorship.
Leading by example, maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for a proactive, organized, and experienced Salon Manager who is committed to delivering exceptional service and creating a positive salon culture.
Requirements:
Minimum Level 4 NZ Hairdressing Certificate or international equivalent qualification.
At least 3 years of experience in a salon management role or equivalent.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Strong financial acumen and experience in salon operations
Experience with salon booking systems, budgeting, and stock control.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to handle client concerns with professionalism.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
